Design-wise, the Xingyue L was created by mixing Eastern and Western design values—a strategy that seems to be paying off well. Based on the new "Symphony of Time and Space" aesthetic, the lines are clean overall, highlighted by a large grille with vertical slats, slim headlights with 126 individually controllable LEDs, tasteful chrome applications, and a combination of 176 LED modules. Composed of dot matrix LED taillights.
Inside, part of the party is the meter-wide "fluid" infotainment screen, which along with the fully digital gauge cluster occupies almost the entire width of the dashboard. It's linked to a 10-speaker high-performance Bose sound system with 'Engine Harmonic Noise Cancellation Technology' and double-layer sound isolation.
The Xingyue L is capable of driving beyond Level 2 autonomy thanks to a new fully driverless automated valet parking system. This is made possible by a new 5G-enabled system that allows the SUV to maneuver completely on its own within a 200-meter zone.
Other in-vehicle technologies include full over-the-air firmware updates, allowing vehicle features such as advanced driver assistance systems, infotainment, power, chassis, autonomous driving, connectivity, and more to be upgraded over time.
