The exterior and interior of BYD Tang Champion Edition DMI continue the current Tang DM-i design, introducing a new Glacier Blue color scheme. The configuration has been optimized, and the new model has a pure electric cruising range of 112km, and the charging time from 30% to 80% SOC is shortened to 22 minutes. Tang DM-i currently has two versions: 6-seater and 7-seater models. The body size is 4870/1950/725mm, and the wheelbase is 2820mm.

From the appearance, BYD Tang DM-i basically continues BYD’s family-style Dragon Face design language. Bright black and silver chrome trims are embellished on details such as the air intakes and bumpers, making the front of the car look more layered. The silver chrome trims on the front also make the car look more sporty.

BYD Tang DM-i is equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system and uses a lithium iron phosphate "blade battery". Depending on the configuration, the car has two models, with a pure electric range of 52km and 112km respectively. The fuel consumption is 5.3L/100km and 5.5L/100km respectively, and the 0-100km/h acceleration time is 8.5 seconds.
