BYD Song L is a medium-sized SUV with length, width, and height of 4840/1950/1560mm respectively, and a wheelbase of 2930mm. Like all Dynasty series electric cars, the Song L does not have the BYD logo on the front, but the Chinese character Song. On the rear of the car, this car does not have the traditional "Build Your Dreams" words, only the BYD brand. It's a coupe-style crossover with an all-electric powertrain.

At the front, there's a BYD Han-like illuminated grille, LED headlights, and a sculpted bumper with large air intakes. The rear is even sportier thanks to pronounced shoulders, a twin rear spoiler above the heavily sloping rear glass, vertical outlets in the bumper, and a huge diffuser with a carbon fiber finish. There's also an active rear spoiler that automatically retracts when required, flush door handles, and mirror replacement cameras to aid the vehicle's aerodynamics.

Given its considerable dimensions, ample interior space is ensured. With frameless windows and hidden door handles, this SUV says "modern" without trying. It also features black A-pillars and a large panoramic glass roof that almost makes you feel like you're driving inside a stylish glass box. For added appearance and aerodynamic improvements, there's a pop-up rear spoiler.
